In the event that I save Bitcoins utilizing wallet “1” and lose access to this wallet, would I be able to import the bitcoins into the wallet "2" without having retrieved the first one?

No. once you lose your wallet, your coins are gone. There is no way to retrieve them. Although they would still be in the blockchain, you cannot access them as the key protecting your wallet is gone too. So keep your wallet secure.
this is not possible in your case.
we can transfer from one wallet to another but in your case it is not possible without retrieving it from the first wallet.
what do you mean by losing your first wallet, is that u lost its private key or was that your hardware wallet.
yeah same question! If it's your hardware wallet you can ask the company to restore it for you if they claim that they do.
If you have an online wallet this means you actually lost your private key, which is actually the loss of bitcoins.
if you have no access left to your previous wallet, then this is not possible.
sorry, in your case you lost your bitcoins.
if you have no access left to your previous wallet how can you actually do importing/transferring? It is definitely not possible.
your actual question can only be answered if you actually had access to your first wallet and you have already lost it.
on reading your question I thought you want another wallet , but your case is dif. You need to have the bitcoins retrieved from the first one.
